The advantages of being physically fit are many.

Physical fitness helps you to effectively work throughout the working day, to do the multitude of tasks apart from your core “JOB” and still have energy for all of life’s little stresses and worries. Hey, maybe even enough in the tank for the occasional weekend away or leisure activity!

  • Physical fitness can be broken into several main areas:
  • Cardiorespiratory (CR) endurance – How effectively your body manages the tasks of delivering oxygen and nutrients to your muscles and takes away waste.
  • Muscular strength – How strong your body is.Muscular endurance – How long your body can perform for.

    Flexibility – How easy(or difficult!) it is for your body to move joints through their normal range of motion

  • Body composition – Fat to Muscle and Bone
