Part 3
They are:
Regularity – Regular exercise helps your body to grow and develop and will make exercise easier to do.
Progression – Gradually increase the effort you put into your exercise routine.
Balance – You should vary your routine. For example whilst jogging is an excellent exercise is complimented greatly when coupled with weight training.
Variety – Varying your routines helps keep you interested and prevents your body from becomin “used to” a particular exercise
Specificity – Train towards specific goals. I.E. The Portarlington 10K run on September 26th 2010!
Recovery – Give your body a chance to recover. Injury is a risk if you overdo it.
